Our Key Shots Storyboard

Producing this was useful as it helped us to visualise our shots and think in advance about how we would film them with a camera e.g. camera movement. Furthermore, it enabled us to have a rough idea of whether everything appeared to flow or not.

Silhouette Shot -  LS

For our opening scene (the introduction) we would like to incorporate flashes of us in silhouette, doing different poses. The changing of poses would be marked by a fade to black; this should make it look sophisticated but most importantly, it will build suspense, as our identities are yet to be revealed.

 Chorus/Dance Shot - LS

We would like our video to have lots of dance shots at a variety of angles to make it more interesting to watch. We should have a consistent LS taken with the tripod at eye level in each set up for continuity. However, it will look better if we use various angles such as a high angle and camera movements such as handheld and on the dolly. The GIF below epitomizes the variety of shots we want in our video.

 Girl with Guy Shot - LS

Throughout our video, the girl band members need to interact with the male actors. The band members obviously need to attract the most attention but singing to the guy can enhance the performance and the meaning of the lyrics. We should have a variety of set ups with the guys to add intrigue to our individual scenes.
